Ajax Systems — Official Partner.
A security store organised by what you need protecting from

Detroit is an official partner of Ajax Systems, the wireless security brand. It sells Ajax hubs, sensors, sirens and automation devices, and its team installs them. The partner needed an online store for the full range. Security hardware is technical and the catalogue is large. Many buyers don't know which sensor they need, but they know what they are worried about. We designed a store that starts from that worry and ends with a booked installation.

- Installation service page
- Cart and checkout
The store had to carry a large range of similar-looking devices. Each has specs that matter to an installer and mean little to a homeowner. The partner also sells installation, so the site had to sell a service, not only hardware. And it had to feel like Ajax: quiet, precise and dark, without becoming hard to read.
- 01 — Large range
Many devices look alike and differ only in the details.
- 02 — Mixed buyers
Apartments, offices and factories need different levels of detail.
- 03 — Service sale
Installation had to be as easy to order as a product.
Sort by threat, not by part number
We organised the catalogue around what people want to protect against: intrusion indoors and outdoors, fire, flooding, plus control, sirens, automation and integrations. Starter kits and hubs come first. A slim navigation bar along the bottom of each section lets visitors jump between scenarios without going back to a menu. Each section opens with a short line on the problem, then shows the devices that solve it.

A dark room and a green signal
Ajax devices are black or white objects with a single glowing light. We built the store the same way. Deep charcoal backgrounds let product renders float. Mint green is used only for actions, like the LED on a device: buy buttons, active states and the current section. The home page opens with a single line, "No wires, no worries", and five short benefits.

Product pages that answer the next question
On a product page the buyer wants to know three things: what it does, what it costs, and what else they need. So the page puts the key features and price next to a large render with a numbered gallery. A toggle switches between the black and white versions. Technical specs, installation notes and recommended devices follow below, so a hub naturally leads to the sensors it controls.

Installation in the same basket
Most of the hardware needs a professional install, and the partner provides it. We gave installation its own page: where the team works (apartments, enterprises, factories, offices and shops), which systems it mounts, and a form to call a specialist for an assessment. Checkout repeats the offer. Buyers set quantities, choose payment and delivery, and can add installation before they confirm.

We designed and developed the store. The partner can now present the full Ajax range by threat and by device type, show every product with its specs and related items, and sell installation next to the hardware. Buyers set quantities in the cart, pick payment and delivery, and add installation before they place the order.
